About this Idea
Set up your building’s common area, or gather at a local cafe or library, and host a weekly or monthly wellness group. Invite interested neighbours who are willing to discuss health concerns and support each other on a regular basis. For example, a group of neighbours in XXX formed a “Ladies Group” that met three times a month to discuss things such as chronic mental health issues. Another group in Sooke, B.C. formed a ‘co-care’ group amongst 3 couples who support one another through changing health concerns.
