Community Concierge

Community Concierges are local volunteers who help their fellow community members access local resources. Neighbours who have a strong knowledge of the community set up a simple “concierge” space in the lobby or other high visibility areas at a dedicated time, and make themselves available to answer questions from anyone who needs help. Often these are questions about local attractions, trusted businesses, or upcoming events. However, more often than not, community concierge programs become another avenue to start conversations between neighbours where none existed before. Clear signage, volunteer vests or buttons can help make this feel more real.
