Connect with Others
Other than learning by doing, another way to gain new insight into building a vibrant aging in place community is to share your experience with others who have started their own! Connecting with those with similar experiences might result in new ideas, and more importantly, act as inspiration and support in times of difficulty.
Find a network
Find a local network of aging in place initiatives - such as the NORC Ambassadors program, the The Neighbour Network, the Village to Village Network or the Canadian Cohousing Network. Contact the organizers to help you connect with others in the program and see whether there are existing online platforms you can join or meetings you can attend.
