Honour Roll

Create an ‘Honour Roll’ to celebrate the individuals who contribute to your community. This simple act lets people know that their acts of kindness or volunteerism are seen and recognized by the community. The “honour roll” could be as simple as a poster on a bulletin board or as fancy as a framed certificate. You can engage the community by setting up a nomination box with cards asking who should be nominated, why they are being nominated and the person who is nominating them. You could even turn this into a community project, by interviewing both the nominees and the nominators (or have the nominators interview the nominees!). Create stories from the interviews and share in a newsletter or as an art project.
